Hitch tried to talk down to Jon, especially for the opening segments where Jon took Bush to task for his lying and constant propaganda.

Jon opened a whole can of whoop ass on him, and outlined the reasons why Bush is full of shit, and tries to talk to the American people, those who deserves answers.

It was fucking fantastic.

Hitchens was humilated.

The audience roared in applause.

Washington had a penis. Jon talked about Bush's unwillingness te treat the rest of us as adults. Hitchens was trying to make the point that the Iraq war was not the primo cause of rampant terrorism--duh--in his usual way of treating everyone but himself as retarded and infantile. Silly shit.

He did not, however, bring up the fact that the historys of the US and the UK are riddled with a nearly continuous disenfranchisement and disdain for the citizens of the ME as real people (with the exception of Israel, of course.)
