Does McNabb really know who Limbaugh really is?

I think he has be oblivious to the bigot's history and what his radio show is really about. If so, he may of been more vocal in his news comments.


Should we send him a copy of Al Frankens book, "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot" so that he can read up on his critic?

2. Donovan knows who Rush is, believe me

He did the right thing by not explicitly attacking Rush as a RW bigot, but questioned why he even mentioned race in the first place. He didn't want to get into a pissing contest with that idiot, and that was the right approach, IMO.

3. Donovan McNabb is an intelligent guy, and he "gets" it.

He definitely knows who Rush Limbaugh is. He's a gentleman athlete who stated in his press conference that it is not his job to determine if Rush is a racist or what should happen to him in terms of his ESPN gig. He in fact said that it is the job of "you guys," the reporters attending the news conference, to determine that.

McNabb took the high ground here, and I admire him for it.

From the press conference (transcribed by me; may not be entirely accurate); look what he says about Dennis Miller. McNabb definitely gets it.

Question: What was your opinion of Rush Limbaugh before?

"Again, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. They hired him, they obviously feel he can provide a little spark for them. Same reason with Dennis Miller on Monday night, for a spark. People get hired because of issues like that. I'm not going to sit there and try to battle him, or have a debate. I guess that's the way he feels, a lot of others have thought about it."

4. Donovan is taking the high road.

That's one of the reasons I admire him so much. (And for the record, I would trade Kerry Collins for him any day). He is a leader, he takes responsibility on the playing field, and he is not going to get in a war of words with that jerk Limbaugh.

In fact, I'll bet for McNabb that this is over, and now he's going to go out and prove himself on the football field. A scary thought, since the Eagles still have to play the Giants twice. :scared:

9. Caller Just Brought It Up on the LIMBOsevic Show

LIMBO's doing the victim thing, that they want to "humiliate" somebody by any means necessary. The caller is kissing him up, saying "it's all about politics." Meanwhile, brother David LIMBO is being slathered over by Wolf BLITZER on the "great debate" about how "Christians are being DISSED by the Elites." But back to LIMBO, he's into full self-pity as he often does, claiming EVERYBODY WAS JUST WAITING for him to inject politics into sports. Sez that SPORTS WRITERS are EVERY BIT AS POLITICAL as him. Sez that "they ARE DEMANDING MY HEAD ON A PLATE"-------well, alRIGHTY THEN, let's have it! "I've been facing this 15 years on my radio program. If you don't say what they want to hear, not only are they going to disagree with you, they are going to demand you be silenced. There are so many things been said about this episode that are so far from the truth that it's laughable."
