Christian Abortion Hypocracy

The major argument that I hear from the Christian anti-abortion zealots is that abortion is wrong because it is killing an innocent person. In fact, for many Christians, the killing of an innocent person is so immoral that abortion supercedes all other issues.

Many Christians also support the death penalty. I have even seen them use scripture, on Christian boards, to justify their belief in the practice. Yet, as the Innocence Project has clearly shown, innocent people have received death sentences. Now, it is debatable whether a fetus is actually a "person", but not a death row inmate. Yet, many Christian capital punishment supporters will argue that the number of exonerations relative to the number of inmates awaiting execution is sufficiently small to warrant the occasional killing of an innocent as an acceptable risk.
