I'm not sure how reliable this site is,but Randi was talking about his today.I find this more disturbing than usual,but maybe * is really losing it more and more.

the problem is that Thompson, the author of the piece, has a single, anonymous source for that quote. He could be putting out disinformation or could be taken for the proverbial "ride" by his source. Nobody seems to know how credible he is.

I'm not putting much stock in it yet. I was actually surprised that Randi quoted him today.

a lot of gullible people got burned by it, setting back (destroying, really) the task of proving Bush's AWOL service. And right here on DU, a lot of people too quick to leap at conspiracy theories bought into Bev Harris' claims of "knowing too much". They lost their hard-earned dough subsidizing that con-artist, and simultaneously causing some damage to the voting reform movement. It's for those reasons I prefer that criticisms of Bush and the GOP be grounded in solid reporting.
