Bush is back in his hidey hole. He has not been seen at all since Wednesday. He did have a super secret dinner party with the WH press corps on Thursday, off the record. The previous week he never left his Waco Compound at all from Sunday to Sunday and no photos were released except one of him and Lance. On Monday he went to Idaho and gave a speech. He allowed himself to be photographed biking, boating and fishing there, so we could all take pleasure in watching His Highness enjoy his leisure activities. On Wednesday he gave another speech. Since then he has disappeared. No appearances, no word. What's he doing in there? Planning his legal defense?

I do not understand why people lay down for this BS every year. The idea that he is on a vacation is ridiculous - he's merley doing all the plotting and planning he can while not under the scrutiny of the WH. He can meet pepole, have fundraisers, etc with no ramifications.

Secondly, we're paying him to work! howcome the average jo with his/her 2 week vacations isn't upset at the royal class taking a 5 week vacation?

The conservative girl that was on last week said that it was good that he was on vacation because American's generally don't know how to vacation.

Yeah, the reason my wife and I didn't take a five week summer vacation every year, on top of everything else is because we didn't know how to. It had nothing to do with paying our bills and the fact that my wife only got 2 weeks of paid vacation.
