Repukes want to trick us into involving Kerry or Clinton

or some other divisive Democratic figure. Let's not fall for it.

They want to involve someone they know how to bash like John Kerry or Hillary Clinton - someone who causes a knee-jerk reaction in their base.

They have no idea how to fight Cindy. None. They can't attack her. They can't swiftboat her. They are helpless in the face of an angry mother.

They want to paint all troops and their families and rah-rah war supporters - and plenty are to be sure - but even those Gold Star families who support the war refuse to bash Cindy. They generally respect her rights.

The pukes are going nuts and are desperate to stop her but they can't. Now they want to trick us into getting a divisive democrat involved. Sorry pukes, we're not going to fall for it.

As Conyers did. Why are they laying so low on this and being silent?

I'm not suggesting they visit Camp Casey, I don't think they should as that would be disruptive and take the limelight off of Cindy. But public comments of support would help to legitimize Cindy's efforts to other Dem voters.

Dem leaders, like Kerry, want to ride the fence on the war issue. They don't want to take a risk and stand strong on pulling out of Iraq. VERY FEW are willing to do this.

allow the messy press dictate what we hear. When congress goes back in Sept thee will be plenty of time to attack bush over the war and the press over their complicity.

We do know that most Dem leaders are NOT being vocal enough about the Iraq war. They are being far too timid, particularly considering that polls show Bush has very little support on how he is handling this war.

As Feingold said, it's time his fellow Congressional leaders STEP UP and SPEAK OUT on the Iraq war!!!

Let Cindy's cause remain UNpolitical so the question of her sincerity for it is unRoveable.

not be diluted. It has to remain ideologically pure and untainted by political ambition and coat-tailing. So far, the Dem leaders seem to be staying out of the limelight--perhaps more out of fear of being labled 'flip-floppers'who voted for the war.

him to meet with her. This should be about the families only. If they bring out a dem leader, then they can politicize it and make it about dems v rep. they are doing just fine. Keep the Dems out of it they will look like opportunists at this point.
