Ashcroft is the ONLY one who can appoint
a special prosecutor? Well, what are the chances of that EVER happening? I just saw Tom Harkin talking.... "Ashcroft, who was appointed by Bush will now be investigating Bush. If ever there was a need for a special prosecutor, this is it." Jonathan Carl (CNN) said Ashcroft is the only one who can appoint one??? Damn! Chances are slim to none, of that ever happening.

7. Yup, Rove or Cheney or whoeveritwas dam near came out
and told the CIA, "cross us and we will put your people in mortal danger." I can't think of a dumber thing to do then make threats like that to the CIA.

3. I'm hoping
it gets so bad, he won't have a choice but to name a SP... unless he wants to look as partisan as we know he is. This is the fox guarding the hen house, for crying out loud.

8. They always seem to
have all angles covered. The CIA is going to have to pile on the garbage they have in order to force the issue, I think.

9. MAYBE, just MAYBE...
They will bring forth OTHER investigations on top of this one?
Like, oh say...
-who flew the Bin Ladens out after 9-11?
-who ordered the stand down of the high jacked airplanes?
just to name a few...

11. This is my thinking also
More and more leaks just may start coming especially after the Chimp's comment last night about there being too many leaks in Washington.

If Tenet backs down now, he might as well just move to Mars because they will destroy him.

And read this that John Dean wrote about WH & Asscrack are trying to shut down ANY information. This is very important -

That is quite an article Mr. Dean wrote. Scary! This administration makes my head spin. They are everywhere! Like RATS! Just knawing their way through our civil rights/liberties.
