Of course Bush has his supporters.
No matter how despicable a leader is, some people love what they do. No crime is too terrible. The Mafia functions with crime and murder every day and accept it as normal life.
Corporations make decisions every working day as to how unsafe they feel they can get away with having their products be. Drug companies, chemical companies, toy makers, and automobile companies all know that their products, as designed, will cause a certain number of deaths. The costs of litigation and settlement are calculated in the price of the product. The most important decisions in a corporation are made by the engineers who explain the design flaws of their products, the lawyers who explain the likely lawsuits that will come up, and the accountants who figure the potential for profits when all is said and done.
War is just another board room decision. The politicians calculate their chances of surviving the next election as they send our troops off to kill or be killed. Every government in the world decides who will profit and who will die for it.
The Neo-Cons who stand by Bush have all supported death and destruction as their way of life. They all realize the profits to be made while they will never face any personal consequences. In fact, nearly everyone around Bush has made millions from death.
What would Bush have had to run his second campaign on if he hadn't started the war in Iraq? What do he, and his cabal, care for someone else's life? Bush has proven his willingness to be a liar.
I don't suppose I'll get invited to any White House dinners anytime soon.

2. My grandmother
grew up under Hitler in Germany. Nice lady, never says a negative word about anybody. She knows now what Hitler did, but before, during the war, she said they all loved him because "you could walk anywhere at anytime and never worry about getting raped or mugged." And, she thought he was "cute."

My aunt told me she was depressed (as in didn't leave her bed) for about six months when the truth came out and she understood.

3. Well, I'm sure Bush is an admirer of Hitler and Stalin too.
He sure follows in their footsteps.

6. Bush is the ultimate "stupid little rich kid".
He is simply out of touch with real, working people. He has never developed any connection with anyone except, when he figures out how to use them for his own gain.
