I just came in from buying supplies. They didn't mention that on the news before I left. I'm in Slidell. I hadn't planed to leave. I'm further inland. Maybe they are talking about the areas on the Lake.

3. Isn't that storm surge directly linked to the tide?
So this might become more clear when they get a better idea of landfall and the speed of movement.
