Why again can't we get the info from Novak?

It seems that he's got the info on who leaked it, so let's hear it!
Is there some sort of immunity he has as a journalist?

1. its ethics, not immunity

they can demand, he basically has to decline or seek another line of work and they can lock him up until he talks.

Sounds tough but it comes with the press pass stuck in the fedora.

...he's refusing to reveal a confidential source as a standard of journalistic ethics. (Gee, Novak, why start concerning yourself with ethics now?)

Journalists do get charged with contempt and sent to jail for refusing to reveal sources, but no one in power is inclined to press this point with Novak.

Personally, I'd like to prepare a pen for him at Camp X-ray.
