1. Would like to know the median income of their families.
But that's just me. Heaven forbid, we should challenge "class warfare."

2. I heard somewhere...
that the US army is made up of mostly people from lower-class backgrounds. The simple explanation is this: garanteed housing, meals, education, clothing.

Personaly, I'd have to say that we've failed the poor in this country.

3. Actually, it's not the very poor. It's the folks you identify.
Breaks my heart to see the guts of this country take it on the chin again. The lower middle class; the coal miners in West Virginia; those that hang on to the vanishing manufacturing jobs in Detroit; the people in Houston with no history or expectations of college. Unlike our Andover and Harvard "educated" leader. Damn. I am ticked big time tonight. Thanks for your post, though.

4. There you go tryin to divide America with class warfare again
Now we'll need a couple of extra years of George Bush just to unite us back up again!
