6. I think we Progressives have been in a dilemma.

The way the flag has been hijacked by the right has made it the symbol of much that we would like to change. In the past, I did not display the flag because I did not, in any way, want to be associated with the right. BUT, it IS our flag too. I propose ever bit of DU material, on-line or off, display the flag prominently. Beat them at their own game with their own game.

You should suggest that to Skinner. It IS our flag, too and we have every right to display it and be proud of the stand that WE take in this country.
