Pro-Death (anti-peace) protesters examples of textbook fascism
1.) Powerful and Continuing Nationalism
Fascist regimes tend to make constant use of patriotic mottos, slogans, symbols, songs, and other paraphernalia. Flags are seen everywhere, as are flag symbols on clothing and in public displays.
3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause
The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.

THIS PIC IS A TWO-FER:

This story has also reached Norway. The people on this pic will also fall under the rules of F.

Headline: Iraqi duel in Texas

They refer the official AP-version of 'thousands of Bush protesters' being bussed in, but also quotes Cindy, and mentions that the lates poll shows more than half of the polled thinks the war is wrong.

7. Is it just me, or do all freepers have a certain 'look' I can pick 'em
out of a crowd and I"m right 99% of the time.

You've got the Nascar sunglasses (with neck-strap), American flag shirt, Mustache, or goatee, and ball cap

1. "Bush is right, you are wrong." Personally, I'd love to hear the evidence behind that claim, but then I'm sure I'd get another lecture on how (blind) faith doesn't require evidence.

2. "Do you deny Saddam (used) WMDs on Kurds?" Sweetheart, nobody's ever denied that. That's not the issue; the issue was whether or not he had them at the time we attacked, and whether he was a threat to us. Naturally, if I were to bring up how Rumsfeld helped him obtain those WMDs, then shook his hand after he killed those Kurds you suddenly have a deep, Christian concern for, I'm sure you'd throw something at me, shrieking.

3. "Traitors not (welcome) in Texas." Not sure what that has to do with Cindy, who's sacrificed more in this war than your tiny mind can dream of, but...then why are YOU there, sonny? Better run: you look fairly fit and there's a recruiter headed in your direction. CAREFUL! They've learned to track the trail of urine YEs leave behind!

6. You are so right!
I have seen Osama and Usama and maybe even Usuma, in the media, but never Osoma! It's kinda like "Get a brain, Morans", eh?

8. Googling "Osoma" reveals that it is a fairly common misspelling
of Right-Wing extremists (933 results for osoma bin Laden).

So this is probably where the good folks in the photo read their "news".

12. Maybe It's more the capacity for critical thought that's lacking.
Also, lots of smart and educated folks operate too much from their prejudice, assumptions, hate, fear and other emotions as well.

I've never met a truly stupid person who knew the full measure of their own stupidity.

Particularly when folks smarter than they are kept telling 'em how smart they were for believing what they were told to believe!

13. That's true. It don't take book-smarts...
To figure out when you're being lied to.

I give plenty of credit to those folks that don't read alot or pick up newspapers often.

The bushbots keep up to date on current events, have college educations and they still don't know shit.

Go figure.
