Dozens of fetuses found in boxes
Allegheny County authorities yesterday said they found several dozen fetuses in a McKeesport garage once used by a suspended funeral director.

Coroner Dr. Cyril H. Wecht said the funeral director had a contract with Magee-Womens Hospital to turn over the fetuses to a crematory. For unknown reasons, Wecht said, the funeral director didn't do so.

The fetuses--labeled and in boxes, Wecht said--were found on the property of the former Newman-Winston Memorial Chapel on Jenny Lind Avenue.

Wecht said the boxes may have been found inadvertently by a member of the funeral director's family. McKeesport and Allegheny County police couldn't be reached for comment.

6. One of these creepy stories seems to pop up every year
Funeral directors who pocket the fee rather than turning over the bodies, or crematory owners who accept bodies and stack them in the barn because the oven's on the fritz or something.

Yuck.

8. we gotta local story...
that's been going on here for a year- NH/MA border-
corpses stacked up in freezersfor several years, cremains unlabeled and handed off to families- crematory unlicensed, several NH officials demanding payoffs to look the other way...

capitalism at it's worst... or perhaps best.
