It's amazing how these poor ignorant people support the killing in this war that everyone knows WE WERE LIED TO. 14. The framing:

Bush vs anti-war protestors instead of Bush vs Cindy, shows AOL's own bias very clearly. But those numbers are probably more or less correct. They show a nation deeply and almost evenly divided (by the Great Uniter!). That's something the Rove noise machine would give their eye-teeth to conceal. Had it NOT been for Cindy's initial and Quixotic efforts, the nation have never known. GO Cindy, GO!

I believe she had spent her first night or so, sleeping alongside a ditch, and (reportedly) without even a flashlight, and with very few fellow protestors. It might be a good idea to establish a detailed and reliable narration of the first several days or so.

Real polls: 58% of the American people opposed the Iraq war BEFORE the invasion. Feb. '03. I'll never forget that stat. Before all the lies were exposed; before the full horror and costs of it were known. Across the board in all polls. 58%!

Americans didn't trust Bush even THEN. And now it's pushing SEVENTY-PERCENT!

58% in any general poll is impressive. It is accurate to say that the great majority of Americans opposed this war FROM THE BEGINNING. And now it's an overwhelming majority of Americans.

I've followed the issue polls for over a year, and they tell an amazing story. The great majority of Americans oppose every major Bush policy, foreign and domestic, way up in the 60% to 70% range. You name it. The Iraq war. Torture policy. Social Security. The deficit. Women's rights. Bush has only rightwing minority support. And the only stat that is out of sync with the great majority is the official election returns, which were tabulated by two rightwing corporations (Diebold and ES&S) using SECRET, PROPRIETARY programming code.

Hm-m-m-m. Makes you wonder.

We've used AOL (BYOA) for more then a decade and I can't remember ever seeing the percents remain so stationary before.

I will also add that years ago AOL did a poll of it's members and back then it heavily leaned Republican... just a guess but from what I've seen tooling around the boards there recently I'd say it still does although perhaps not quite so much.
