Greyhound has cancelled all bus service out of New Orleans

1. I would think they would have had their fleet on the road by now.

Can't say I'd blame them for not wanting to bring more buses in.

but if i was ceo i'd be sending every available bus TO new orleans and offering free service out...allowing for the timeline of getting a bus there and back out of course.

4. Greyhound is probably out of buses in New Orleans

They closed off the inbound freeways into NOLA this morning, didn't they?

6. They should be offering rides out of town

to go anywhere to higher ground.

7. The roads are gridlocked right now.

There may not be much point in sending in Greyhoud buses. There are going to be thousands of people stuck on the highways who tried to get out but couldn't.

At this point, maybe a bicycle would be better. Just jump on it and pedal for dear life.

Nightmare scenario: just imagine, sitting in traffic early tomorrow morning around 6 a.m. The roads haven't moved. You're sitting there, getting desperate.

On the horizon, you see an enormous white funnel, headed your way......
