3. I just saw one of the officials talking about Grand Isle
He said there were 7 people that chose to remain on the Isle.
They said they did everything to get them to leave and they wouldn't.
I hope they are safe.

some people just refuse to leave, for whatever reason. Maybe they dont trust "the system". But there are a some folks who will lock doors on the authorities trying to get them out. The cops cant wrestle with these folks, they've enough to do for the greater good.

The cops will take their names for next of kin, tell them not to call for help because none is coming, and get on helping those folks who are smart enough to use it.

Thats how they know there are 7.

What are they suppossed to do?:shrug:
