CROSSFIRE: Republicans declare war on CIA
It's all sublimal. But it's there. What the CIA says doesn't matter. Asking why the CIA would even hire someone like Wilson. Ignoring the magnitude of what will happen when it becomes PUBLIC knowlegde that this woman was an undercover operative.

Folks, all the Dems need to do about this scandal is bring it up everyday. They don't need to jump up and down screaming. The CIA is on OUR side. The CIA never loses. Ask JFK and Nixon what happens when you cross the CIA.

9. No crap...
.. and I am pissed that Paul didn't call him on the honesty and integrity thing that he just kept repeating and repeating.

He is from my state. Maybe he should get an email from me.

2. yes, just keep this in the public view
the republicans will keep defending, but their defenses are extremely weak, probably the weakest so far.

Very difficult to explain the lack of action these last months. As soon as Novak's column was printed, it was indisputable that SOMEONE outed Plame.

3. Ask any Republican who opposes an "independent counsel"
Are you in favor of treason?
Are you weak on defense?
Are you anti-CIA?

5. When guilty.. discredit the accuser..
Edited on Wed Oct-01-03 04:25 PM by nini
.. this is always a guilty man's stategy.. - cuz they don't have anything else to fight with. They know someone prominent did something they weren't supposed to.. so they've got to discredit the other side here.

How stupid are these people? Take on the CIA?? hahahahahhahaahha

8. "Asking why the CIA would even hire someone like Wilson."

How many American' and allies' lives must a senior diplomat in Baghdad save during the Gulf War to be considered quality?

10. Yes, isn't it interesting
after all the crap these people have done,
that something so small and silly could bring them down.
This is something the American people can understand.
