We should recall the National Guardsmen out of Iraq to help in New Orleans |
|
If this storm is as bad as they are predicting then I think that the best use of our National Guard would be to have them here in the US and on standby to help the people of the New Orleans region.
But instead...they are fighting a war for Big Oil Companies.
Had the Guard been here they would have been able to airlift people out of that region and reduce the casualties that this storm may cause.
But instead...they are in Iraq where they aren't wanted and where they are being targeted by insurgents.

1. This misadministration cares more |
|
about protecting oil corporations' profits than it cares about the lives of Americans.

3. Same thing happened in Florida last year |
|
Not enough national guard to help through FOUR major hurricanes. They were all in Iraq, and still are.

4. But to think that, you'd actually have to believe that BushCo |
|
gives a shit about the people of New Orleans.
