Why is this the outing an issue now and not on July 15th?

Why didn't Wilson or anyone else make a stink about the outing in July? I know the WP just published it's story last weekend but Wilson knew his wife had been outed. Why didn't he start screaming then?

I'm not suggesting some sort of conspiracy, just wondering.

Was he silent hoping it would go away and not damage her too much?

Was it benhind the scenes stuff happening? If so, what?

3. Bureaucratic Momentum

This wasn't shocking or awe-ing enough to be explosive back in July. It's taken time to come to a boil because of the slow pace of bureaucratic momentum.

And Wilson has been screaming. The only difference is that now he has a receptive medium, something that was not in effect before.

I've notice a lot of 'reporters' are having trouble along these lines; guess they don't read.

Wilson and many others have spoken out continuously since Nofacts' article. But none of it made the network evening news, so in the media world, it only had a ghostly existence. The power of media owners has seldom been made plainer.

As I understand the nut of this: back in July the Agency notified DOJ of credible evidence of criminal wrong-doing; DOJ sloooowly sends CIA a questionaire (11) to complete to qualify for the final, bonus round; that questionaire and whatever was sent back to DOJ last week; career DOJ said OK, we're going to full investigation mode, last Thurs or Fri, I believe; Monday (early?) Asskroft noticed WH counsel Gonzales; Monday (early-mid?) Gonzales warned staff, etc 'Get ready, get set...'; late Monday Gonzales said 'Go' to preserving evidence, etc.

I think the dilatory nature of goings-on at DOJ, the notice double-pump, etc are revelatory of brewing problems at career DOJ, and DOJ/WH liason. The dark potential this holds is why I think Asskroft appeared so shaken and acted so WIERDLY at his press conference. He knows that many more than the leakers are at risk of going down for the count, including his own skinny ass.
