Mississippi Repuke Gov Haley Barbour said "Wall Of Water"
Why the hell would he use the hysteria inducing "50 foot wall of water" description? Struck me as deliberately alarmist. He said it way past the time anyone could still evacuate.

1. that seems a bit nitpicky....
when many organizations have been saying much worse over the last 24 hours. For example, this from the National Weather Service:

"WATER SHORTAGES WILL MAKE HUMAN SUFFERING INCREDIBLE BY MODERN STANDARDS."

2. He may save a life or two if some nitwit picks up and moves to the Dome.
and he is right. The worst case scenario would be a car on the highway as the hurricane hits. Cars fly during level 5 hurricanes.

3. Do you know what his job was before he became Gov?
He was a DC Lobbyist, he owns (owned) one of the most lucrative firms in DC - he was the head of the RNC and he began is political career as a press secretary for St. Raygun.

I don't like him at all :puke: Elephant Babar!
