military assaults on demonstrators vs. New Orleans evacuation efforts
How do the troop counts compare?

I highly suspect Bushler's Reich has dedicated at least ten times the number of troops to military assaults on demonstrators as he has to evacuation and rescue efforts to New Orleans.

Does anyone have hard numbers? It would be very interesting to compare.

2. well, I was looking for numbers, e.g. cops in WTO assault vs. cops in NOLA
I guess I may be stretching the term "military assault" to refer to assaults carried out by militarized police forces.

Even if you streched it a little i got the point.

You know the part that scared me the most was seeing the military/gaurd doing the escorting. i know this is a MAJOR incident,However i had horrible visions of grooming for MARTIAL LAW.

5. yes, but they had more body armor etc. than our troops in Iraq
And more ammunition, too. So I feel perfectly safe in calling it a "militarized police force."
