7. What denomination does Robertson belong to?
Does Robertson belong to some Christian Church or Denomination? They are probably appalled by his assassination statement and should be encouraged to excommunicate, disfellowship, apostatize, or shun him, or whatever they do to signify that he has broken faith with them.

I'd write to them or email them if I had the information.

18. He's his own denomination...
No one wants to claim him :+

Seriously, I think he's Evangelical Christian, maybe a bit Pentecostal.

Peace.

14. I don't think so. I am pretty sure he is protestant. If not
Southern Baptist then something very similar.

(Pat Buchanan is a Catholic though.)

2. I thought there would be a criminality in his rantings, but
not being a lawyer, I didn't know for sure. Thanks for posting but I don't think Gonz will prosecute one of the neo-con club.

3. If the Latin Americans can't get satisfaction...
through the legal system, maybe they'll do the smart thing and cut off the spigots...of course, Chavez will offer to provide oil to poor Americans, but that would be rejected by BushCo

4. I doubt very much that Gonz will prosecute him.
All you're going to hear is that he's an OLD guy and sometimes just doesn't think before he speaks. Even if Gonz did prosecute, the most you would ever see is a fine, which wouldn't bother Robertson at all!

8. There is a clause in your link that protects our 1st Amendment Rights.
You must have missed it.

10. One cannot threaten to assassinate
the POTUS, 1st amendment or not. It follows that political and religious leaders cannot call for the assassination of government officials either, 1st amendment or not. The same ethics and rules apply.

12. You Must Have Missed The Fact That Your Rights End At Threatening Others
You don't have the right to endanger the safety of others. Only a moron would think that's protected speech.

15. He also lied- baldfaced lied- to the US- but, eh, who
cares-
He's one of the chosen-

And 'America' IS the 'law' of the world- or so we've come to act and think-

Sad- so awfully sad.

17. You missed the debate the day after Robertson threatened him:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=104&topic_id=4436022

I argued this and surprisingly several people argued that he didn't break the law...
