Where did Katrina hit today and how hard?

I work all night and followed it until 8 am (central time). I just woke up. Can anyone give me some quick updates?

1. It appears to have hit Mississippi the hardest

and we're still waiting for Trent Lott to come out of hiding.

I didn't know if they were focusing more on MS on the news right now(since you can turn on CNN and wait an hour to find out what you want to know) or if that was the hardest hit.

2. Mobile is getting pummelled

A friend of mine is stuck in Mobile.
I just talked to another friend in Northwest Mobile, he said their Governor just said that Mobile will get 15" of rain this afternoon.

4. I have a sorority sister from Mobile (from college many

years ago). I'm not too worried about her-tornadoes always scared her so I'm sure that she left a couple of days ago.
