My parents lived hours away from a military base. Every so offten he would go to the base and "stock up." One summer, while on vacation someone came in and stold our food. The ONLY other stuff they took ,was stuff to carry it off with.

We never even reported it. People who still FOOD, need it.

Electronics--items that aren't life's essentials--that's what I call looting. Still, the fact that it happens indicates a large poor class.

I'm not wealthy by a long shot, but I can't think of anything I would want to loot from any store (other than food if I hadn't evacuated) and perhaps resell. It wouldn't be a matter of morals stopping me, but the need to make an extra buck. However, my budget isn't that tight.

I make enough not to make it worth the effort to grovel that low. It is pathetic in "the greatest country in the world" that others don't earn enough.
