Finally, we've decided that syndicated columnist Ann Coulter has worn out her welcome. Many readers find her shrill, bombastic and mean-spirited. And those are the words used by readers who identified themselves as conservatives.

They are replacing her with Tony Snow, but hey, I can deal with that :D

I stopped buying a local weekly when they added Ann C. But the paper I refer to has so many other problems it wasn't even worth a LTTE. For example: The ten commandments is a full page in every issue.

I know little of this Tony Snow character, besides being a Fox "News" person, but I doubt he (openly) supports "invading countries, killing the leaders and converting the people to Christianity" or hoped that Timothy McVeigh had blown up the NY Times offices.

1. As a good ol' conservative, Ann should appreciate that the market dictated this situation: no more demand for her supply. End of story.

2. Prediction: Sooner or later, she's going to try to pull an "Andrew Clay." Like the onetime hot-stuff comedian who tried to re-market himself with a softer image, declaring that the "Dice Man" was just a character, she's going to try to do a makeover of her image to say that she was just a satirist who overestimated the average reader's ability to know a bit when they see one.
