Neal Cuvato Faux 'A tough day that turned out okay'
His summarization of the hurricane, stock market, shit that matters to him I guess. This is how he began his broadcast just now. I sit here with my mouth open wondering if some of these people on this channel even have a soul..... sigh. Peace.

2. MS Govs. greatest fear: "that there are a lot of dead people down there"
as per CNN report. MAssive devestation, worse than Camille in coastal MS and LA:

When asked what was his greatest fear, Barbour replied grimly "that there are a lot of dead people down there."

snip

Authorities in Gulfport, Mississippi, told CNN's Gary Tuchman that 10 feet of water covered downtown streets.

"Because the water is so deep, boats are floating up the street," Tuchman said. "There is extensive damage here. This is essentially right now like hell on earth."

"There is intense damage," he said. "We are watching the dismantling of a beautiful town."

8. Why I am still paying attention to his program at this moment ....
is beyond me ..... they are still continuing the 'discussion' on the $ ramifications of the market concerning the hurricane. Wouldn't you think there is a time for real humans to just drop this type of discussion because of humanitarian concerns? :wtf: These peoples God is $ and it is sad. Disgusting. Making $ on disaster, war, blood, innocent peoples plight is CRIMINAL and not human. The republican Neo-Con agenda, this is what it represents. How far will they go? This shit sucks. Peace.

5. Unfortuantely, I think that's the mindset with a lot of people.
So much of the buildup to this was focused on the possible complete destruction of New Orleans that when that didn't happen, people forgot about ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO WERE GOING TO DIE.

9. I also think the 'mindset' of a lot of people is ....
making $ on other peoples miseries. Investing in stocks which propagate the war machine, 'shorting' on Oil when disasters like the hurricane which just hit, on and on. I mean betting .... or rooting for certain things in life to happen to our planet not taking into account the consequence of our fellow human being, just so you can make a buck? And then gloating afterwords because ... yea my portfolio went up, I was right again !!! Where in the hell is the justice or solace in that? I guess they just don't get it do they. Nothing seems to effect these types until something affects them personally and therein is the sadness for all of us .. :wtf: Peace.

6. Like in Slidell, asshole?
Apparently there's a CNN guy who said the condition in Slidell was "catastrophic".

Catastrophic does not mean okay.

I was so pissed today, every public place I went into had friggin FUX on tv, that's all I caught of the news until now. :puke:

11. That's all they care about. Themselves.
That's why they like fox so much--it reinforces their limited perceptions. As long as they're assured that *they* are okay, and that the bad "other" people are kept at bay/dead---everything's peachy damn keen.
