Way to go Mr. President.
1800 + dead
20,000 Wounded
? of Suicides
How many broken homes?
how many jobs lost by Guard and Reserve Troops?
100,000 dead Iraqis
bin Laden walks free
$300,000,000,000.00 Spent
how many cases of "mental illness?"

And now Iraq will be a theocracy which will be breeding ground for anti western

1. They WANT Bush and Bin Laden to have their Holy War so the world will live
in perpetual war, perpetual fear and the fascists will be rolling in defense dollars for at least a century.

2. I don't know, sometimes I would like to believe that all the bad happened

by accident. Like they really believed that everything would come out OK by now and nobody would ever know or care why they invaded it. It's possible there is a grand scheme, but at least on the surface it looks like one tragic misstep after another.

4. it's hard to understand because we ourselves are not evil
But unfortunately these malicious things are real.

I couldn't understand it until I read enough history about basically war and what was done in war in classical, medieval, and other history. Until then I operated largely under the assumption that the government was not particularly maleficent.

One enormous failing of mine along these lines is when I successfully identified most/all TV programming as propaganda without picking up on what the propaganda was for etc. in 1991. It then served to keep me largely ignorant of goings-on in the world until things shook up drastically both in my personal life and in the country in 2000.

8. you overlook the longterm scheming
reading the michael lind book 'up from conservativism' i recall getting bitterly enraged at the 'get away with murder, by blame the deed on the baby; and getting control of the baby's inheritence, squandering it and blaming the hobo from the park with stealing baby and inheritence, then heroically riding with the cops searching for the mad hobo etc' that the 'conservatives' have TRIED to pull off. One example of their deep grained deceit is what professor lind calls the 3 conservative hoaxes (taxes are too high, public education is a failure, poor unwed girls have too many babies) all of which have been proven untrue, documented again and again, yet the rightists systematically, and in league with each other, maintain these 'big lies' because the entire destruction of the left is based upon these lies (and destroying the left has destroyed working class hopes and middle class material gains, in little over a generation)
george bush jr is the result of a longterm widespread class war on the ordinary people of the US, with the world incuded in the defeat...now we know it, we should get them and legally attach all their assets (ie the rich /powerful) by convicting them of waging undeclared war against us (the human race) and polishing the insides of pipes with them and their fukking spawn
:)

3. Making the world safe for theocracy.
A theocratic state, governed by a closed group of self selected elites, with an electoral process that is of minor practical effect, all enforced by the barrel of the US military.

It's Bush's wet dream.

5. Who's pocketing the $ ?
Is there any way to know where all the loot is going? They still haven't any reliable electricity, etc. And what about the Iraqi oil? Anyone watchdogging that or is it shrouded in corporate mystery?

7. Iraq was never a threat to the U.S. But, if they establish a pure
Muslim state they will be a threat in perpetuity. Good job Mr. President!
