To all on the gulf coast

I graduated from LSU in December of 2000 with a degree in political science. Many of my friends still live in both Baton Rouge and in and around New Orleans. I am very thankful tonight that my friends have come through this devastating storm, bodies undamaged. Unfortunately, not all were so lucky.

While the search and rescue missions have just begun, and clean-up has yet to commence, I would ask all of you to pray for those people along the gulf coast. My thoughts and prayers are with them tonight, and will be for the foreseeable future, as they work to rebuild and reclaim their lives.
