than we are. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since some schools were letting almost anyone in.
Hell, I heard about Carter/Reagan/hostage crisis in high school and jr high school history. I took an advance course in college and we went in depth.
They must have been busy learning how to read by following the pictures instead.
