"Don't Blame Me, I Voted Republican" |
|
I saw this bumper sticker today in Branson, Missouri on a car parked at our hotel. I thought about how all my cronies at DU would probably have a field day with such an outlandish statement.
Of course this sticker was on an SUV.
I was absolutely flabberghasted that someone would proudly proclaim such a thing considering the state of things today.

That statement just makes no sense today with conservatives having absolutely nothing to whine about for the last five years. Are you sure it wasn't a relic from the Clinton-era?

18. I'm sure it was a relic... |
|
But the fact that they've KEPT it on their car is what baffled me.
I think I'd be a bit embarrassed if I was an accomplice to the mess we're in.
But then again, I forgot that in the mind of a Rethug, all of the world's problems are due to Clinton.

2. Filled up my gas tank today; it cost $4 more than two weeks |
|
ago. I said, "This sucks ass. I didn't even vote for the jerk!" Some lady beside me laughed her ass off; she knew exactly what (rather, who) I meant.

So unoriginal, and what does it mean, anyway? Voting Republican is why we blame them!

The Dems won't let them have any fun, and the liberal media is so mean!

6. I don't know, the irony is delicious |
|
I might grab one of those. It'll be a real head scratcher - the world is crumbling into a dusty heap of crap and the idea of taking responsibility for it is so unlikely that such a bumper sticker might stir more disbelief and cognitive process than a dozen impeach Bush stickers.

8. These people are so ignorant |
|
they blame the party that isn't in control IN ANY WAY. Somehow it's the helpless party that's responsible for all the problems ?

9. They sure love to play the victim... but then again, that's been |
|
Rush's schtick for the last 10 years, persecution by Femi-Nazi's etc. You'd almost think Republicans didn't control the Administration, or the House and Senate by the way they act sometimes...

11. The sticker makes PERFECT sense |
|
The point is that Repugs don't take ANY blame, no matter how fucked up they make our World.
"Don't blame me".... those are the words Bush says everyday.

14. What does he mean by that? |
|
That eight years of peace and prosperity were flushed down the toilet when he voted Republican?
That the Republicans have turned this country into a fascist dictatorship?
Boy, I hope he is proud of himself.

IMO that's the only reason it would actually make any sense at all.

|
The irony should hit like a ton of bricks, but the likelihood is that the stickers owner, and all his beer-bellied bubbas, will say "that's whut AH'M talkin bout!"
