This is getting dreary--all those houses underwater, people being told NOT to come home until they are notified they can...

How are people supposed to sit in a hotel indefinitely? My wallet aches just thinking about that. Kids are supposed to start school...

And they're coming home to nothing, because houses are flooded to the roof, water damage everywhere...and we haven't even seen the damage done to Biloxi and that whole area, which got the brunt of this. The people in the Superdome might as well start receiving mail there. :scared:

At least George Bush can eat cake though! I bet that nice hotel he's staying in (and you and I are paying for) is real nice and private. Turned out to be a pretty good day, huh! :grr:

It is awful and so totally heartbreaking. I was away from the TV most of the afternoon and just started seeing the images of the devestation.... And then hearing about members here losing everything and not able to find out if their kids are ok and on and on. Its all too much. :cry:
