Wonderful resource. Spread it around.
All information is subject to change. Many stations are relying on their corporate parents to configure and maintain Internet streaming. Because of the intense interest in the feeds, they may be unavailable at times because of network congestion or a problem feeding the video to the streaming servers. Links are at the end of the message.
WWL-TV New Orleans (Belo) - This station has stopped streaming and dropped all links to its live stream because of a problem feeding WWL video to the streaming server that is operated by KHOU-TV Houston (also owned by Belo). Additionally, massive bandwidth consumption caused some issues. The station will almost certainly restore video streaming once it finds a new partner to stream with and/or upgrades and restores its connection with KHOU-TV. Note that during Monday afternoon, WWL-TV was uplinked via satellite on a CBS network satellite transponder. In turn, CBS provided its own stream. That stream was discontinued around dinnertime when CBS needed its transponder back to feed video news stories back to the network and affiliated stations. CBS may resume streaming WWL, but I suspect that would be dependent on the network having access to WWL's program feed and a request by the station.
WDSU-TV New Orleans - This station evacuated from its New Orleans facilities and relocated WAPT-TV, the ABC affiliate in Jackson, MS. In an unusual arrangement, the two stations have teamed up to provide joint coverage. WDSU definitely has the stronger news team, and the Jackson station's own local coverage has benefited from this.
WKRG-TV Mobile, AL - This station is providing good coverage of the situation to the east in Mississippi and Alabama.
