Please... This Bob Novack not giving up his sources because he's a journalist is a bunch of bullshit. Novack is a Right Wing shill without one ounce of Journalistic integrity. He lost his Journalist credentials the minute he started lying for the dark side!

What next... We gonna start calling Drudge a er...Journalist?

1. Bob has changed his story four times so far...
today's defense seems to be the the one most coordinated with the WH defense - there are places in the defense where Bob says things that he couldn't know unless he was in direct contact with the WH.

6. How can he change his story so many times
when the original article is in PRINT! You can deny you said something, but you can't deny you wrote something when it was published in a major newspaper. He's just making it worse for himself. The more he changes his story, the more obvious his lies become. Does he think he's safe? The Bushies will cut him loose without even thinking about it. Not that I care ... I'm just making an observation.

4. so first we go after the 'bad' journalists?
The guy is journalist by profession.

If it is allowed for the government to force one journalist to give up his sources, then where will that end? Are you sure GP won't go after critical liberal journalists as well?

The fact that you disagree with him, don't like him or think his journalism is low quality, is irrelevant.

Same rules apply to all. To make exceptions to the rules based on personal preference is not justice.

5. Nonsense
A journalist sticks with the facts of a story and doesn't embellish it for ideological reasons... Once he does that he or she is no longer a true journalist... If Conason/lyons etc started lying in their stories then I'd say the same about them....
