I love NOLA...it's a great place to party, but it's also one of the darkest and dirtiest towns once you get away from the tourist areas. But it's no different than most inner cities...I just saw a black family in Mobile that had been washed out of their house and lost it all.

But then what opportunities do these people have? Corporations move their factories away from the cities...and, if they're not out in the "safe" suburbs, they've outsourced altogether. There's no incentive for the corporations to invest in the country they make their greatest profits in...and an attitude among many that the poor (especially if they're black or Mexican) deserve their desperation.

Yes it is sad and going to get sadder and more and more people are forced into economic poverty and the rich uses class warfare (ooops did I say that nasty word) to keep the hounds at bey.

5. Think Shrubbie will be as generous as he was with Florida?

The little snake even got down there last year and was passing out ice to needy citizens (alongside his big brother, of course). Hell, he even bought people new mobile homes and contributed a sizeable amount of money to help out. Don't forget, of course, how RED Florida is.

With that in mind, consider that the population of New Orleans is approximately 60% black (mostly democratic-voting). Suppose our great white leader is going to help alleviate the suffering down there like he did in Florida last year?
