Fuckingassholes at Faux.

Faux has bassically taken the position that if you're too poor to evacuate when told to evacute, you deserve to die.

Faux and the Reichwing have determined that poverty is now a crime punishable by death.

42. CNN's Daryn Kagan, Rush Limbaugh's girlfriend
expressed similar disdain for people who were being airlifted off of rooftops.

Nice to see that SOME people are so morally superior that they have never made a wrong decision, isn't it? Let alone consider that perhaps, these people were actually unable to evacuate for some reason.

40. FUCK THEM
those over paid pompous pieces of shit have no idea what it's like to struggle and have no options in a situation like that. FUCK THEM and the greedy evil empire they pimp day after day.

That man is more common in this country than their country clubbing elite selfish pieces of shit that dominate the world.

This country is dead when someone can say something like that while supposedly 'reporting' the news. This is what we've become folks... a selfish evil country that allows bastards from hell to get on TV and spew shit like that .

That man broke my heart and to hear a reaction like that makes me sick.

5. When they interviewd that man yesterday they included his name
Edited on Tue Aug-30-05 09:33 AM by SoCalDem
Now he is just referred to as "a man".. That bothers me because when you look at other interviews, the person's NAME is included, and often where they lived or worked..

This poor guy is just now "a man".. subtle (or not so subtle) classism-racism..:(

18. I saw it on abc this morning and it is gutwrenching.
The gentleman looked absolutely stunned. I heard the reporter ask him where he was going or something like that and I heard part of his response 'lady, I have no where to go. I have no house.' I think that he mentioned his wife again, but I'd already lost it by then so I can't be too sure.

Poor Harvey. I hope to God they find his wife, one way or the other.

Her last words demonstrated the kind of courage I only see in women. Cindy Sheehan exhibited the same thing down in Crawford.

21. Saw that on ABC's Good Morning America
Anyone see ABC's Good Morning America this morning? A reporter interviewed a man in MS (who was holding a small child) who said he and his family were in the attic when the house "split in half". He was holding his wife's hand and he said she told him he couldn't hang on and to take care of the kids. He can't find her and was just beside himself in tears. The woman reporter started crying and asked the guy for his wife's name so it could be broadcast for help.

Then they cut to Robin Roberts who is from that area and she broke down on the air when she started talking of finding her family safe.

Where is our President? hiding just like he did during the Tsunami, but this time he is at a "resort and country club" taking about his wonderful 'prescription drug plan' and 'social security'.

Where are our Congress people? Where is the "compassion"?

46. I dare the media to lead with that story.
All the news networks should mention how W danced while Katrina raged.
I nearly threw my shoe at the TV yesterday when I saw his pompous cheerleading Medicare drug 'benefit' speech, where mention of the hurricane was a minor aside to his big message. If he had any presidential bearing at all he would have stayed in Crawford for the short hop over to the hurricane zone today, but then W does have a history of fleeing from 'hard work.'
