That means that the companies will not "lose" money now they will just not make as much. They were already making exorbitant profits before the hurricane.

a couple of weeks ago and said something to the effect that oil company execs were doing just fine when oil was $50 a barrel. He said now is more or less overkill, because they can. This guy supposedly worked in the oil industry. I believed him.

Heck - if this were a just world, there would be such caps on gas, munitions, etc etc
