2. thanks to everyone here at DU
and everyone there at FR, ALL online polls are utterly meaningless. It's ridiculous that 90% of a vote says he is either poor or great. What a joke of a poll.

4. Let's keep it moving

It is really 50/50 because the freepers would only say "Great" job.

Keep it kicked and we'll get to the truth.

7. What I like to do when this happens is to drop an email to the publication
letting them know why their numbers are what they are, and who was doing it, and how. Something along these lines generally brings a response from the editor:

"Your poll was posted to the far-right wing freerepublic.com web site, and a lot of their followers used whatever means they could to skew your poll to their position. This includes but is not limited to IP-spoofing and deleting cookies to enable multiple voting (sometimes hundreds of times). In other words, your poll has been "freeped". Even though this poll is non-scientific, the results have been severely tampered with and should not be taken seriously. In most of these cases it is usually better to not post the results online, as this feeds their desire to have their positions validated, and they will gloat about how well they did and how they fooled you."

I keep an eye out for calls to freep a poll, and have managed to clue in people while the freeping was in progress <g>.
