U.S. media coverage of this catastrophe has been utterly misleading and abysmal. If they have any decency these idiots would quit their jobs immediately and volunteer to clean up this heartbreaking mess with buckets and a shovels if they have to. it wasn't that bad. New Orleans was spared the very worst, and the levee and pump system appeared to remain intact.

That has changed now, though. It just took awhile after the storm hit for that to become clear.
