But it's a months-long effort. Still, a decade from now, I bet you'll be able to go down to the French Quarter and hear people swap stories about the hurricane of '05 (pronounced "aught five," of course). They'll pull together.

has been around for 300 years, and they have weathered hurricanes before this one. And they'll weather this one, too. Don't be so quick to give up on "The Big Easy".
