Really thought that I was going to get gouged on propane gas.

I just had my 100-gallon tank filled up yesterday. The gas company leaves the bill on my door because I am usually at work. I delayed opening it until today because I thought I was really going to get socked with a high price. But the charge was only $1.80 per gallon. But, of course, the tank was filled before Katrina hit, so I guess I will not be so lucky with the next fill-up.

rate this year. I really had to think about it but $2.29 a gallon doesn't seem so bad now.
Why did I finally decide to lock in? Because shrub was in the white house.
