NOLA's Tragedy dwarfs 9-11

On 9-11 Bush was sitting around doing nothing - reading my pet goat. On 8-29 & 8-30 Bush is eating cake & playing guitar.

bush used the 9-11 tragedy for political gain and to push his agenda
bush avoids Katrina tragedy because there is no political gain and it exposes more ongoing failures of his administration

I appreciate that the economic loss from Katrina will be gigantic, but it won't result in a loss of civil liberties (patridiotic act) or put us into wars in other countries (although it might make that oil sucking ferret Dick Cheney look greedily at Venezula)
