is he? If Jeb Bush is right about gas shortages in Florida, what happens if we have to evacuate from the next hurricane?

3. I'm telling you--they are talking with their brokers.
They are either trying to cut their losses or make a killing. It's the Republican way.

4. Chertoff
You might remember him as the lawyer for some terrorist types in New Jersey. But Bush had to appoint him to homeland security (and people wonder why we think he was involved in 9/11)!

Considering the fact that Bush is wandering around acting like nothing has happened, partying in San Diego, don't look for Chertoff to be visible any time soon. They're probably hosting a fundraiser together somewhere and can't be bothered with the real people.

The Bush Administration is so incompetent, Katrina victims might be better off if they DON'T get involved.

I'm watching this from home, where I'm safe and dry, and I just want to cry for them.

One thing I know for certain - freeper 'pukes will have no sympathy. With their attitude, it should have been them.

Yes, I'm feeling a bit bitter as I watch this play out. I need to figure out how I can donate some money...

8. I am afraid if we donate money it will go to a faith-based charity
or to Halliburton.

9. Well, that assumes the agency has anything to do with its name.
It doesn't. Rather, it's intended to absorb a large number of other agencies and turn them into 100% porkbarrel projects. Except for the FBI/CIA/etc. of course, who become Bushler's personal Gestapo.
