I don't get it. How does Wilson's party affiliation have any bearing on what happened? His wife's identity was leaked; that's an incontrovertible fact. It's there in black and white. His party affiliation has nothing to do with that. The only possible explanation is that his being a Democrat somehow justifies what happened, which, of course, is beyond rediculous.

I noticed that Wolfie was in defense mode all day... sounded like an embarrassed mother trying to excuse her little spoiled brat's outrageous behavior. "Well, Robert Novak just wouldn't... blah, blah, blah." Then on his 5:00 p.m. show he had Novak on and let him spin the hell out of the story. Gave him a forum to lie his ass off and backed him up when all was said and done. Wolf Blitzer showed his true Media Whore colors today.

Yep, CNN is circling the wagons on Novak's behalf... at least Blitzer is.

Of course Novak is one of thier own. What really pisses me off though is when some talking head says "alleged" leak or worse, "IF the story was leaked"; WTF, that there was a leak is not in question. Only question now is who. :mad:

Novak is scum, but he was used and the admin. WILL hang him out to dry and try to make him the scapegoat. You should have heard Dick Armey on CNBC. That's the plan. Sacrifice Novak. This is BAD. This will completely CRACK reporters and their sources if they prosecute him and get him to turn and it can be used to protect Bush and the admin. by threatening reporters who get good leaks regarding the admin. that they can recieve the same treatment as Novak...
