2. Just when you think it can't get more shameful ...
it gets more shameful.

Katrina is the biggest natural disaster to hit the U.S., and Bush is the biggest unnatural disaster to hit the U.S.

6. La and Miss govs said * has callled repeatedly
and asked to visit.
Both demured politely implying now was not time.
You could sense their contempt that he may try to use this as a political backdrop though neither voiced it. It was what they didn't say that spoke for them.

he celebrated.

Bush loves death and destruction. This sort of thing gives him a major boner.

17. Amen.
Totally useless. Not only is he completely lacking any hint of leadership ability, he can't even react swiftly or appropriately to events. x(

It's almost like our national "leaders" are so busy looting the nation's treasury that they can't be bothered to deal with the annoyance of actually governing the country. Nah. Couldn't be. :sarcasm:

18. CC's (Chimp'n Charge) words are not his
The Bush cabal (with W playing a minor role) tele-conferencing to establish the exact message carefully craft every conceivable scenario think tank test an untimely message for the most advantageous propaganda. It is more important to their interests than to give a sincere, effective rapid response to Katerina. Also, Halliburton needs to be consulted to see if there are enough billions to prompt their involvement for starters.

20. I agree. My mother in law said today that he is a "wonderful man" that
declared a state of emergency before the storm even hit...

My wife mentioned that he wasn't too swift to act or comment after the tsunami hit asia to which she evidently took exception.

What blows my mind is that if you are found to be gouging victims during a time of national disaster you can go to jail, but American oil companies impose an immediate .10 a gallon hike in gas prices even though they are banking BILLIONS in profit a month and our government says nothing.

What a "wonderful man"

22. The Shrub doesn't have a shred of human
decency or empathy for anyone other than himself. I've never hated anyone in my life, but I hate him. He is a worthless excuse for a human being and frankly I'm not sure he's even human!!!

What a bastard!!
