President Kerry would have been in Louisiana this past Sunday.
He would have taken charge of the situation as soon as it became apparent a monster hurricane was headed for New Orleans, marshalling all of this country's resources to minimize the suffering.

Even after the hurricane hit, while thousands of Americans were struggling for their lives, all that fucking mutant freak bush has done is grin for photo ops. Impeach the fucker now.

3. I don't about that
During the campaign, when a FL hurricane occured, Kerry opted not to go right away because he said it diverts local resources to deal with a visit from a VIP. Local police officers and other depts have to provide security, roadblocks etc. He felt it was better to wait and let the locals focus on the disaster relief.

Sorry guy for seeming to be abit CRANKY tonight.....

You guys are spewing badly tonight.....

Ask yourself just one question???????

Would the Secret Service really allow the President in the area before, during or soon immediatly after the storm????????

Take your time to consider an answer........

Also Kerry may have been more active in this event but he could have only done so much..............

Put you emotions back in your backpocket.........

8. the LEAST he could have done was cancelled those CA fundraisers- I think
that the image of him laughing and joking (not sure whether he was at luke afb or already in CA) should be juxtaposed with a scene of the devastation in gulfport-- and shown and shown and shown until his apologists perhaps FINALLY get it into their empty little heads that he doesn't give a DAMN.

Undoubtedly the SS would not let him go while the hurricane was still raging, but he SHOULD have been doing something more than saying "all of you get to higher ground"

9. I say again, as from another thread...
I think he should take Marine One into NO, land at the Superdome, and go ALONE inside to have a face-to-face with the people holed up inside. Do you think that * can look at human suffering and feel even a pang of empathy?

10. with all due respect...
Senator Kerry could be there right now, helping Mitch Landriuex navigate a boat down St. Charles street picking up survivors.

sorry to be cranky. this was an act of g-d, for which we, the collective we, even the 49% we who voted for these morons and the miserable .00000002% we who rigged the polls so that bush gets to have another term are not responsible.

rot in hell to all the bureaucrats who failed to prepare. rot in hell, all you members of congress who allowed bush to strip prep money away from the COE.

there's a lot of blame to go around. but sheesh, who knows what a president kerry would have done? i think i'd rather concentrate on what an opposition party can do when the logical consequences of corporate governance begin to come home to roost.

sheesh. double sheesh.
