"Bush's Tuesday speech stood out in stark contrast to one he made 28 months ago from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln as it headed to San Diego. During that speech, in front of a giant banner emblazoned with the words, "Mission Accomplished," Bush announced the end of major combat in the war in Iraq."
"Since he selects everyone who comes very carefully, we feel like we need to let everyone who comes know that (his) reasons for going to war were wrong," said Sabre Springs resident Joan Little. "We went about it wrong and we're paying for it now."
"This is the most threatening period in our history, threatening to our liberties, our truth and our Constitution," she said. "I feel like I have to do something to make a difference before I leave this world."
