Panic gas buying??

Has anybody witnessed an increase in people buying gas because of the anticipated price increase due to Katrina?? I have heard of some reports of stations running out or selling alot more gas than usual..

Should the president declare a national emergency and freeze the price of gas until this crisis is over?? Thoughts??

2. How About A Shortage?

That's what I'm watching out for.

With many of the most productive rigs in the Gulf apparently out of action, NOLA all but destroyed and who knows what condition the harbors and Mississippi River are...not to mention the status of the many refineries...the gas price may be the least of our troubles.

The bitch from the oil lobby is they don't have refining capacity and losing some of these large plants for weeks or months is going to create a shortage that no price drop in Opec crude or tapping open the strategic reserve will help.

Sadly, this may finally wake up enough sheeple to look at how meester boosh and his regime have destroyed this country.

3. Crisis in the making

Inasmuch as we don't see a crisis yet, one may be coming down the pipe very soon and most Americans are not ready for it!! SHouuld be interesting in the next couple of weeks..

I would be watching what happens in the next couple of weeks.. the american public is not ready for any kind of shortages in their precious gas!!

5. The price of gas has gone up

30 cents since Monday, it's just shy of $3.00 here in Wisconsin. Yes, service stations were swamped yesterday in anticipation of a price hike. As far as freezing gas prices? I say NO. We have far too much government in our lives. As much as I hate paying those prices, it's business - you know, that supply and demand thing. Now don't think I'm being callous here, just my humble opinion. We should have demanded that the auto industry make more energy efficient cars long before this crisis. We all know our dependency on oil and the Middle East equates to being held hostage. For this, we have only ourselves to blame.
