Why won't they ask? I really think we need to slam the media, I have been writing and emailing this information. I think we need to attack the media until they are so sick of hearing from us about this. Or we need to find someone who will write about it, report it.

I am sure that it was a good program since Clinton put it in place. I was just wondering if you knew and if so, if you could share a little bit about it.

12. The Program developed over years to PREPARE for disasters BEFORE they

occurred. Studies to best deal with a regions needs and to prevent worst case scenarios were given the funding necessary to develop and enact plans.

Some of the programs already developed were defunded.

I am sure there is alot more we will be learning as Katrina is forcing the media to look into this more.

Check LBN for an EXTREMELY important E&P piece about how the Times-Picayune featured NINE articles in 2004-2005 dealing directly with the defunding. It should be on the greatest page by now.

The answers are probably in those nine articles.
