I'm thinking the small bulge at the bottom of Lake Ponchartrain might be a wetland area (swamp) that just gained a lot of water due to storm surge, most likely, it will recede soon.
The flooding between Lake Ponchartrain and Lake Maurepas (on the left) is very shocking. That little sliver of land going through that flood, is I-55. I'm not sure if it's flooded or not.
Another area that is a bit scary is North and West of Pascagoula Mississippi. Looks like the Pascagoula River Valley is flooded too.
